WOW, Horseman’s Market Day, 2025 is “a wrap” for 2025 and what a Market Day it was!!! We had 2 “firsts” this year. For the first time ever, we were sold out BEFORE actual Market Day!! We have sold out the day of Market Day quite a few times, but never before!! And for the first time, we had On-Line registration and payment options! So this will definitely be a Market Day for the books!!
On behalf of the members of Brazos Valley Driving and Riding Club, we would like to give a big THANK YOU to the vendors who purchased the booths and brought a great variety of items to sell, and to the shoppers that came and purchased those items. The shoppers I saw were all carrying purchases, had bags filled with goodies, and many made several trips to their vehicles to take their purchases. The vendors I visited with were all pleased with the shopping traffic and plan on coming again next year! Your support of this event is greatly appreciated!!
And a very special THANK YOU to our wonderful club members who stepped up and helped out doing any task asked of them, helped where they saw a need, and even helped vendors move their stuff in and helped them load up after HMD ended. It definitely takes a lot of help to put this event on and we could not have done this event without all members’ support!!!
On a bittersweet note, our Club members would like to thank Kathyrn Kelly Osbourne, my “cohort-in-crime” on the HMD committee for her WONDERFUL service in putting on this event! I am sure going to miss her steady hand on the wheel driving this event!! This was her last HMD to help put on; she is stepping down to proceed on getting her Ph.D. We will certainly miss her, but also wish her the very best as she embarks on this new chapter!!
